Chemo Round 6: Day 24

We got the news this morning that we most likely won’t be going home for Christmas. It was hard to hear that and I did have a couple of good cries when I learned that her ANC had dropped to 34.

Chemo Round 6: Day 23

Another day closer to being home but we’re still here for now. Her ANC was up to 47 but it usually needs to be closer to 500 before we get to go home. We need you all to pray for her counts to recover as quickly as possible.

Chemo Round 6: Day 22

No major updates today as she didn’t have any labs done. She’s been doing well and I’m good spirits despite her low counts though.

Chemo Round 6: Day 21

Well, I really thought we would’ve been home by now but it’s good that we are here because her counts dropped again. Her ANC is now 10… can’t go much lower so we are praying it starts to recover soon. Her platelets and hemoglobin are steadily increasing so we just need those neutrophils to get…

Chemo Round 6: Day 20

We’re still here… someone forgot to cue the neutrophils and let then know they need to get their act together. Her ANC was at 50! Everything else looks good so hopefully she won’t be down for long.

Shyanne’s day started out with her being sick. She was throwing up and just didn’t feel well. Her ANC was down to 96.

It feels like it’s been the never ending round but I know we are getting closer to the end. This hasn’t been any longer than our other rounds so far but I think it feels that way because of the holidays and all.
