It feels like it’s been the never ending round but I know we are getting closer to the end. This hasn’t been any longer than our other rounds so far but I think it feels that way because of the holidays and all.

Chemo Round 6: Day 16
Another good day here… Shyanne thought it was pretty great as she got to get in the tub today.
Chemo Round 6: Day 15
Shyanne had another pretty good day. Her ANC was at 210 and everything else looked pretty good.
Chemo Round 6: Day 14
Not a lot to update today. Her ANC went up a little to 261 and everything else looks good.
Chemo Round 6: Day 13: Platelet Powerup
Shyanne had another good day but she was a bit naughty today. Maybe we can blame it on her ANC getting lower… it was at 180 this morning. Her platelets had dropped too so they went ahead and did a transfusion.
Chemo Round 6: Day 12
137 days… I think that is about how many inpatient days we’ve had since we started this journey. That doesn’t count clinic visits or anything else. The good news is that we should have more days at home pretty soon!
Chemo Round 6: Day 11
Shyanne had another good day. Her ANC has bounced up a little so it’s starting it’s yo-yo thing already. She was definitely feeling much better and didn’t have any more issues with her mouth bleeding.
Chemo Round 6: Day 10
Shyanne had another good day other than the scare she gave me before bedtime. She was excited to be set free from the IV today but she wasn’t too happy when she got hooked up a couple of times. Her counts are dropping and she got a blood transfusion today.
Chemo Round 6: Day 9
Another day down and another day closer to being home although that is probably another couple of weeks away. Shyanne had a pretty good day.
