We had another pretty easy day here… we should definitely be around the halfway mark by now so hopefully it’ll get easier knowing that we’ll be home soon.
Her ANC is being crazy and was up over 600. Her platelets had dropped pretty low so she’ll probably be getting a transfusion within the next couple for days but her hemoglobin is still good.
She’s been feeling pretty good so we decided to have some fun and do another quick photo shoot as it was her first heartiversary. I still can’t believe it’s been a year since she had open heart surgery.
I also think back a lot about her TMD diagnosis in the NICU and how it resolved itself. There was a reason for that and I believe it was because God knew that she needed to get her heart fixed before she dealt with it. The bloodwork that found it again was done on the exact same day that she was given a clean bill of health from cardiology… coincidence?
Iknow God has some special plans for her and He is holding her in the palm of his hand. I just feel so blessed that He has allowed me to be her mother and to witness His miracles first hand. She was put here to bring joy and happiness and she does that for everyone she meets no matter how bad she feels.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to wait for her counts to recover. The doctors did say that sometimes our kiddos recover quicker during the last couple of rounds so that would be nice if that was our case.
Here’s some of those lovely photos from today:
Another big Thank You to Ms B with Child Life for helping out with some of these decorations and for snapping some great pics!
