We waited for what seemed like forever for her lab resultra to come in only to learn that her ANC was 10. Her hemoglobin was up though so no transfusion! Yay!
The most exciting part of the day was bath time as she hasn’t had a tub bath since our last long admission in July! She was so excited!!!
She thoroughly enjoyed herself and then took a good nap afterwards. Later in the day she got her dressing changed and everything looked great.
I made a couple more little ‘line bras’… I think I like them a bit on the longer side because I can fold them under to make a deeper ‘pocket’ for her lines. They are working out great so far and they allow easy access to the lines when they need to hook up IVs or draw blood.
Ms. Bethany brought a couple new toys to play with and Therapy came by to play for a bit. Shyanne is getting stronger and stronger everyday and making good progress in many areas.
I’ll have to try to get her latest accomplishments on video for you soon. She is just so amazing and her problem solving skills are incredible… this little girl is going to do amazing things!
She did sleep in her crib for a good bit last night after cap change. I got a little bit of sleep on the pullout but I’m still just ready for my own bed.
Please just keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to wait for count recovery. We love you all!
