It was yet another pretty boring day. Shyanne’s ANC went up to 20 which was double the day before but still not quite high enough to warrant a going home celebration so we will just wait.
I kept busy with a few things like making some ‘line bras’ for her central lines.
Here’s the instructions I posted on Instagram:
They were pretty simple to make and I had thought about adding a pocket to the inside but I found that I could just fold the stretchy part under and tuck her lines between it and the onesie top… works pretty well.
We played a bit and she ate pretty well most of the day. She did make a mess at lunchtime which gave me an excuse to change her clothes and try out her new gear.
She was happy with it and I was thrilled that she could wear a regular shirt without needing to worry about her grabbing her lines. (I have used the crocheted tops alone before but sometimes she gets them slipped down.)
She took a nice nap after lunch and then we played for a bit. After dinner she had her daily CHG bath and mouth swabs.
I tried to get her to play in her crib but she wasn’t having it. She eventually fell asleep for a bit but then woke up when Daddy called.
After talking to Daddy she decided she was hungry so I let her eat some of the cookies that Sissy had brought us.
She enjoyed them very much as she was being a ham for the camera and for everyone who came in the room. It took quite a while to get her settled down and then when they came to hook her up to her IV antibiotics she got all crazy again… Momma didn’t get much sleep.
We just ask that you continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
We love you all!
