Sorry… this had published last night but something wonky happened at the link wasn’t working…
We’ve been home for a couple of days and enjoying our time here. It just seems to be going by so fast and I feel like I’m moving so slow. Shyanne however has been working on her sitting skills and getting better every time she tries.
I have a feeling that by this time next month we’ll have a crawler with two cute little teeth. I can’t wait to see what she’ll be doing be her birthday! It’s sneaking up on us so fast!
The first day home I was busy opening packages that had come in for our little princess. We’ve posted several pics on our Instagram of these lovely gifts.
Yesterday was spent opening other packages and sorting mail. Just trying to get things caught up before it’s time to go again. I also started gathering some materials for our new school year.
Today she had a clinic visit which ended up being a lot longer than we had intended. She had some labs drawn and her ANC was 660!!!!! This also means she can stop taking one of her medications for now. The other antibiotics will continue on the weekends until 6 months or so after treatments end.
We’ll go back Thursday morning for a dressing change and then a bone marrow biopsy. The results won’t be back until Monday or Tuesday which will make long weekend.
As long as everything goes well we will be returning next Thursday to start the next round of chemo. We will be on the look out for fevers or signs of illness as well as unexplained bruising.
I’m going to try to get some sleep now but I hope you all have a good night.
